Airbus is committed to support the global aviation targets and the three CO2 emissions goals, announcing in 2009.

The use and development of sustainable fuel is a key pillar of Airbus’s strategy to help to meet these goals because sustainable aviation fuels can significantly reduce CO2 emissions. Part of Airbus’ answer, the company delivered aircraft to JetBlue with 15.5% blend of sustainable fuel.

Airbus wants to leverage a growing investment in Alabama and our relationship with important stakeholders to help tip the scales towards commercialisation of sustainable fuel in the region. Airbus wants to help raising the level of demand for sustainable fuels in the Southeastern U.S. to the point where commercialization is feasible.
